ZSL London Zoo

London Zoo, now officially known as "ZSL London Zoo", is the oldest scientific zoo in the world. It was opened in 1828, originally solely for the scientific study of animals, but has been open to the public since 1847.

The zoo is located on the northern edge of Regent's Park in London and is today home to over 15,000 animals from more than 700 species.
